Lippi says: “Italy, don’t get pumped up”
Italy’s coach, Marcello Lippi told everyone today not to take the recent 4-1 win over Germany as a sure thing for the World Cup.
More, he advices caution for the group matches.
“If Italy don’t get through the group, it won’t be because they have underestimated their opponents,” he said. “We have great respect for Ghana, the United States and the Czech Republic.
“We are preparing and learning everything we can about our opponents but we know the most important thing is to be convinced of our own strength.”
While I do not think that Italy will not qualify from the group, you have to admit that the group looks difficult and surprises are always at home at the World Cup.
