Italy’s the new Brazil
Well, let’s put it this way: they have the same amount of people seeing their training. Italy doesn’t play like Brazil does, but they attract quite a lot of people at their training ssessions.
Spirits were high at Italy’s training camp in Duisburg on Thursday, where over 3,000 supporters flocked to watch the Azzurri train. Marcello Lippi’s men also tried out the new ball that will be used in the FIFA World Cup™ Final.
For the first time since Italy’s arrival in Germany, a police barrier was set up on the road leading to the sports complex used by Lippi’s squad, through which only a small number of journalists were permitted access.
