Ghana announces World Cup plans
Ghana announced their plans for the World Cup in Germany 2006.
The Black Stars will hold a training camp in Portugal from mid-May as they get ready for their first ever World Cup appearance this summer.
They have chosen this location since the weather is much more similar to the weather in Ghana than the weather in Germany would be. It might seem a little strange, since they should probably get used to the weather in Germany more than having a gradual accomodation.
They then plan to move the team to the Germany city of Wurzburg, where they will be based for the duration of the tournament.
They will be playing South Korea on the 4th of June in preparing for the World Cup, and they have negotiations to play against Iran, Belgium, Columbia and Ukraine before starting the World Cup.
