A great goal from Ballack’s replacement, Philipp Lahm, started the match Germany vs. Costa Rica, followed by Miroslav Klose, on his 28th birthday, only being interrupted by a great goal from Costa Rica’s Wanchope.

This all happened till the break, in one of the best opening game I have seen in the last 20 years.

Let’s hope we will see a World Cup that will rise to the occasion and be at the same level, at least, with this match.
