Will Baros play?
Nobody knows. Or, if they do, they do not tell us anything.
Bruckner refused to confirm the availability of Aston Villa striker Milan Baros, who became a fitness doubt after sitting out a large chunk of Saturday’s training session with a recurrence of an old foot injury.
“The Milan Baros situation hasn’t changed at all and I have nothing more to say on the topic,” the coach said, ducking direct questions about his starting XI. “I truly cannot say whether or not he will play in tomorrow’s game.”
The 24-year-old forward returned to training after missing most of the Czech Republic’s recent practice sessions since injuring his foot in a friendly just over a week ago.
“I don’t know, our doctors don’t know. I don’t want to put (the chance he will be fit) as a percentage,” coach Karel Bruckner told reporters ahead of the training session in Gelsenkirchen.
“His situation is the same as yesterday.”
