News for Czechs
The Czech Republic fans have two news to think about: Koller’s move to A.S. Monaco and the recovery of Tomas Rosicky.
Czech playmaker Tomas Rosicky announced Monday that he has recovered from the thigh injury troubling him since the end of May and said is ready for the FIFA World Cup™ finals.
“It seems ok. Tuesday I will start to train with the other guys,” said Rosicky, who recently signed for Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund.
“I have no problems now,” he insisted.
Czech Republic striker Jan Koller has joined AS Monaco from Borussia Dortmund on a two-year contract, the Ligue 1 club said on Monday.
The transfer does not involve a fee since Koller’s contract with the German club has ended.
The 2.01 metre tall striker, 33, is the Czech Republic’s all-time top scorer having netted 40 goals in 66 matches.
