Croatia’s and CSKA Moscow’s striker, Ivica Olic, has recovered from injury and he will be fit to play in the opning match of Croatia, against world champions, Brazil

The 26-year-old CSKA Moscow forward had been suffering from a right thigh injury but returned to full training on Saturday.

“I think he is now at 80 per cent and he will be available for the Brazil match,” said coach Zlatko Kranjcar.

“Olic participated in the whole training session today (Saturday) and the shooting session at the end. It seems to be going well, even if he didn’t put too much pressure on his right leg.”

Olic, who had a serious knee injury last August, is vital to Kranjcar’s plans as he prefers to pair him up front with the veteran Dado Prso, in preference to Ivan Klasnic.
