Argentina beat Angola 2-0 in a warm-up game in which central defender ROberto Ayala won his 100th cap.

Winger Maxi Rodriguez put Argentina in front when he netted captain Juan Pablo Sorin’s cross from the left after 29 minutes.

Twice FIFA World Cup winners Argentina, who open their campaign in Germany against Côte d’Ivoire on 10 June, went further ahead in the 37th minute when another Sorin cross was deflected in off defender Andre Mateus.

Ayala becomes now the third Argentinian player to go beyond the 100 caps for his national team, after Diego Simeone and Javier Zanetti. Of course, he could go to be the first, by playing all 7 matches to the final of World Cup.
