Apparently, he saw the Socceroos qualifying to the World Cup last week and he has been so impressed by their play that he offered to fly them to Germany. You have to know (or to remember if you already knew) that John Travolta is a qualified airplane pilot, flying his own Boeing 707. More, he has a runway in front of his house, practically parking his plane outside.

I think this is some great news. While I expect for him not to understand too much of the game, having a first class Hollywood star promoting football/soccer is good.
