Germany’s economy to grow on World Cup 2006
One of the consequences of the World Cup for Germany is an increase in the country’s economy. Frankly, I am not amazed at all, if you think of the prices you should pay for accomondation during the World Cup.
In a reported published in Bild Am Sonntag, DIHK President Ludwig Georg Braun said, “We expected the World Cup to create 60, 000 jobs and bring a 0.3-percent growth rate to the country next year.” Every third job created by the event would be a permanent one.
