Brazil to play Russia in World Cup warm-up
Finally, Brazil found a better team to play a friendly match. I don’t have anything against the United Arab Emirates but, come on, they do not have a football team. Russia didn’t qualify for the World Cup, true, but it still is a powerful team, a team that has players from TSKA Moscow, that won the UEFA Cup and the likes.
The match will be played in Moscow on March 1st. This might be a problem, though. I think the Brazilians didn’t really know that the temperature will be around 0 degrees Celcius, nowhere near the 30 degrees on the Copacabana beach.
Brazil wants to play more exhibition games leading to the tournament, but its soccer federation has not found anyone else willing to play the five-time world champ, coach Carlos Alberto Parreira said Tuesday.
Hopefully, they will find more teams to play with, so we can get a glimpse of their great players.
