One of the great players of the game, maybe the best of the 1990’s, Zinedine Zidane led his national team to win both World Cup and European Championship in a row in 1998 and 2000.

He hinted some days ago that he might retire from playing football after the World Cup and after ending his contract with his club Real Madrid in 2007.

The 33-year-old Real Madrid midfielder previously said he would quit in 2007 when his current contract with the Primera Liga side concluded.
